Jupiter’s Pizza in Downtown Champaign is one of our favorite places for a treat!

We kicked things off with Cheese Bread and added Tomatoes, plus a couple of crisp draft beers—the perfect start to read over a menu. 🧀🍅🍺

This time around, we tried the Special K and Salmon pizzas. Yes, they might sound a bit unusual, but they are flavorful and fantastic!

Special K Pizza: A delightful blend of cream sauce, mozzarella, provolone, sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, oregano, and basil.

Salmon Pizza: Crafted with cream sauce, mozzarella, provolone, smoked salmon, spinach, and dill for a fresh, savory experience.

Jupiter’s is always buzzing with the great music accompanied by the energetic crack of billiards from the pool area, there’s never a dull moment. It’s a great place to be if you’re looking for good vibes and fantastic food in Champaign.

Whenever our travels take us near Charleston, IL, a stop at Dirty’s Bar & Grill is a must.

The star of the show, and we stand in awe of these, were the Crispy Mozzarella Sticks. Wrapped in delicate Wonton Wrappers and fried to a perfect crisp, these are not your ordinary cheese sticks!

This time around, we expanded our experience with some of Dirty’s other specialties. The Homemade Buffalo Chicken Rangoon was packed with flavor, perfectly complementing the zesty Buffalo Lemon Pepper Dry Rubbed Wings (Buffalo & Blue Cheese Sauces alongside for dipping, is how we roll). The BLT Burger was huge and an amazing choice, the special sauce they made for it really set this one apart from ordinary burgers. To top it off, tall cold draft beers were the perfect accompaniment to our delicious meal, making every bite and sip very satisfying after a long day on the road.

For anyone in or passing through Charleston, we highly recommend a visit to Dirty’s! It’s a chill place where the food consistently impresses.
